Our destination is trophy Striper fishing on the Lower Sacramento River, Chico, California with Hogan Brown, VP of Marketing for Loon Outdoors.  The Lower Sac is prime water for hunting for big striped bass that can run 30, 40, 50 pounds, or more. In fact, Hogan shares a great story of a 50 pounder that broke his rod and explains why big Stripers may present THE toughest challenge for guides and anglers in freshwater.
