The Winds stretch 100 miles north to south, encompassing 3 wilderness areas, and are absolutely loaded with remote alpine lakes – over 2,000 – and the largest Golden Trout in the West.
As an Orvis-endorsed guide, George and his son run remote alpine trips to beautiful and uncrowded places. With 50 years of experience in these mountains, George explains where and how to fish the Winds, how to beat the crowds, and a rundown on the elusive Golden Trout.
